Brands such as Cole and Son, Sian Zeng and Charlotte Jade capture a tropical infusion of rainforest activity brought to life with a vivid colour palette of aquamarine, hot pink, burnt orange and teal blues. Deeper background tones were evident in providing a richness of colour allowing for pattern to stand out as a statement.
Whilst pantones 2018 release of colour reflects a balance of primary tones of ‘Cherry Tomato’ red, ‘Palace Blue’ and a green tinted ‘Meadowlark’ yellow. A calmer collection of shades are also included to soften a palette, ‘Almost Mauve’, ‘Ash Rose’ and ‘Nile Green’. Digitally inspired tribal prints also inject some vibrance of colour, mixed with Ikatted repeating patterns creating a modern twist.
