3. Our Products
3.1 Bespoke. All hand tufted rugs, runners and broadloom supplied by us are made to order. We offer a unique design and colour service that will create a truly bespoke hand made item just for you. We can make any size, any shape and any colour. By ordering a bespoke item you agree to the terms of sale and accept full responsibility for any inaccuracies caused by information provided to us at point of ordering. We will follow measurements provided to us and it is your responsibility to ensure your measurements are accurate. Please bear in mind that all products are hand made and can vary in weight and size by up to a 2.5% tolerance.
3.2 Handmade products may vary. The buyer must accept and agree that unlike machine woven goods all hand created products will not have a uniform finish. The buyer is choosing a truly unique item and must agree that the seller shall not be liable for any discrepancies in such hand woven or hand tufted products. These Include but not limited to slight variations in colour and weave unless caused by supplier negligence. Bamboo fibre is a beautiful yarn however we advise that it is best used in smaller area sections of a design or mixed with New Zealand wool on plain floor coverings. Obviously, we leave this to the customers discretion when creating a rug.
3.3 Online configurator. Colours may vary slightly from the images of our products on our website and configurator, they are for illustration purposes only. We have made every effort to display colours accurately however we cannot guarantee that a device’s display will accurately reflects the colour of the products. When using the configurator, we recommend using the pom box supplied to see the true colours you have selected to create the rug. The final hand dyed product will always be within a 5% tolerance of the pom colour due to our products always being handmade. All rugs are quality checked against the pom colours chosen on arrival, in the rare event any discrepancies would be reported immediately to the customer or retailer so that we can offer a remake or possible discount.
3.4 Product packaging. The packaging of our products may vary.

4. After Care
4.1 Colour Fade. All goods are made from natural fibres which can fade over time. Such fading may be accelerated where goods are exposed to strong light or natural sun light.
4.2 Vacuuming. We recommend that you take care when hoovering your hand made designer rug. Always use a nozzle or upholstery attachment, follow the direction of the pile and use low suction. DO NOT use a beater bar as it may damage the fibres. If a piece of yarn does pull out do not panic, the yarn is separate so will not unravel. If you have a loose yarn, we recommend that you simply clip it off.
4.3 Rug Cleaning. The rugs are made from New Zealand wool and bamboo fibre. With any spillage or accident involving liquids, speed is of the essence. Immediately blot with plain paper kitchen towels, soaking up the liquid until dry. Any spillage involving food etc. scrape up the solids with a plastic spatula or knife and then blot up the damp residue with kitchen towels.
If any residue is left, a solution of carpet shampoo and warm water can be used. Carefully blot with a cloth soaked and well squeezed out. Allow to dry and vacuum. Carefully comb the pile in its natural direction to remove any matting. Do not be tempted to throw on anything like salt/soap powder/white wine on red wine etc. This will only exacerbate the problem. We would always recommend professional cleaning. The exception for the rule is our Eco range which are made of plastic bottles therefore have been tested and it is safe to use even bleach.
4.4 NCCA. We would recommend future professional pre treatment or aftercare to be completed by The National Carpet Cleaning Association. You can access their services by clicking the link on our website or visiting www.ncca.co.uk
4.5 Certification for insurance. Our rugs pass the BS 4790 and CFR1630-FF 1-70 Fire retardant tests. We are Step and GoodWeave certified.
